How to stand out in your local market

Hi,

It’s Akansel,

If you’re running ads as a local business, here’s an easy way to make it work better:

If in the ads you’re talking about you or your service, you’re immediately dead.

Because we are selfish creatures, so if you don’t give me a reason to pay attention, I'm not watching it.

(you have approximately 3 seconds to catch my attention)

And that's why so many people see your ads, but so few click or even watch them.

So, the easy way to fix this is to be relevant.

To do that, you simply have to think about the most common problems your customers have.

For example, let’s say you’re a chiropractor. What’s the most common problem your customers have?

I’m not a chiropractor, but I bet that it’s BACK PAIN.

So your ad could simply be you talking to the camera, no need for fancy stuff.

Just you starting with, “Does your back hurt?”

And if my back hurts, I will IMMEDIATELY stop.

Why?

Because my back hurts, so this is relevant to me.

Then you simply explain who you are, what you do, and where you’re based.

And then you tell them what to do next. It could be “call this number,” or “visit this place,” or “click here.”

Doesn’t matter. Your ads should start with their problem and end with some sort of call to action.

That’s it. It’s soooooo easy to stand out as a local business because no one. NO ONE is doing this.
